Mayflower II Tours
Tours of Mayflower II will be available during
Maritime Day. Tickets must be purchased at the
Mayflower II ticket booth to tour this vessel.
Toot Toot Mini Tug Boat
She was hand built by Mike Magnant in his
backyard on the back deck. She is 14 1/2 feet
long and sleeps two. It took 4 1/2 years to build
her part-time and she was finally launched in
August of 2002.
A small list if items found on TooT Toot are:
Navigation lights, compass, GPS, Depth
finder/fish finder, 18 hp four stroke outboard
motor hidden in a motor well, AM/FM stereo
mp3 player, vhf radio, dual air horns, and a real
18 wheel truck horn. She also has what is called
a half mile ray spot light that originally was used
on a 1962 Chris Craft Constellation motor yacht.
She also has LED lights around the top rail all
around the boat. There are dual batteries that
run all the electrics and are used to start the
motor. But the thing that people like most is the
wind up key. It sure is a lot of fun and TooT TooT
can handle up to six people at a time
